The Elliotts, Marillyn and Shaw, along with daughter Rhaechul have been creating these beautiful works of art since 1979. Until now the majority of their business has been done through art shows, but now the Internet has offered them the opportunity to spread their "butterfly wings" and share the beauty of these jewels of nature with the world.

Marillyn captures the essence of these stunning creatures in the natural settings she creates beneath glass domes, in framed flights ,or in custom enclosures, as well as a lovely collection of jewelry. Shaw creates the wonderful wood bases and frames for each item. These amazing, unique creations have been purchased by Butterfly Art Collectors all over the world.

The incredibly lifelike specimens are grown on plantations that help support the preservation of rain forests and offer economic support for the farmers who raise them. The butterflies are never killed, but die naturally and live longer in their plantation homes than their cousins in the wild. Each specimen is free of defect and will retain its natural beauty for generations with minimal care.

Every piece is an individual expression of the artist's talent so no two are exactly alike. Marillyn loves to create just the right design for every client so custom orders are a specialty.
